I’m On Twitter!

I’m quite surprised that some of my friends are on Twitter too! My good friend Lemski is on Twitter, and I’m following Roy Sencio there as well.  I’m starting to enjoy Tweeting but not as much as I enjoy my Facebook account.

I like Facebook better because majority of my friends are active users in Facebook. Although some of the friends are in Twitter but I think Facebook and Twitter are two different things. They are both powerful social media sites but they are just too different, I think.

Maybe next week, I can blog about my Twitter experiences and how Tweeting drove traffic to my sites. I heard people say that Twitter can increase traffic to any website, but for now that’s something that I have to personally experience. I have quite a few referrals to this blog from Twitter but i think the number of traffic I am getting  from Twitter is insignificant (as of now!).

I am actually interested to see and experience the power of  Twitter.  It’s just amazing how social media works this way. Sometimes, it’s even life-changing. Imagine meeting, or crossing paths with old friends through Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace. Just this afternoon,  I got this e-mail from an old friend. After of years of silence, my friend and I met again through Facebook – and I think that’s AMAZING!!
