Hey, let me see how my taxes work!
it’s been awhile since the last time i seriously blogged about my life. it’s not that I REALLY have to blog about my life and all the intricacies in it. But blogging allows me to express who I am. Blogging allows me to reveal to the world who I really am as a person.
A lot of things came my way lately and I refuse to blog about them because it’s emotionally draining.
Anyway, it’s summer and it’s really hot in here! I’ve been craving for halo-halo ever since summer started. And I have had one serving of halo-halo since the onset of summer. My mouth waters everytime time I think about halo-halo. Mmmmm. I wish I could go to beach today, or go to the mall. I can’t afford an air-conditioner so, all I have is my sister’s trusty electric fan. I share the fan with my laptop. Call me paranoid. But I don’t want to my laptop to explode with this kind of temperature that summer brings. I saw this video on youtube where this Dell laptop exploded during a conference. The video scared me and it still does.
I’m doing a lot of work lately but I need MORE projects to cover my expenses. I stopped clubbing for a month now. I stopped eating at McDonalds and settled for whatever the small carenderias outside my boarding house are selling. No more Bo’s coffee. No more Smirnoff. No beer. I even stopped riding taxi’s now! I am trying so damn hard to save more money these days. (sob*) I practically stopped living my life! (boo-hoo-hoo*)
No wonder I’ve been so depressed lately.
Again, although I lack sleep and rest for days now, I am still looking for more writing projects. I’m saving up for Carhrihl’s enrollment fees for the coming school year. And hopefully, I could send Josef to school this year too. Last week, I saw this young boy on TV. The boy, a contestant of a reality show, said that education is a privilege. I guess he was right about that. Nowadays, education is a privilege, which of course, should not be the case here. I still believe that ALL Filipinos have the right to education. It is a right and not a privilege. The Philippine government must allocate a higher budget for education instead of funding war and military intelligence.
Good education should never be financially-draining. Every kid deserves a good education.
