An Open Letter…

It’s been a month or so since the last goodbye entry I made for my friends. And now it’s my turn to say my farewell to some people I’ve met and loved for almost a year now.

Funny how life is in its normal and constant unpredictable flux and how its normality seems strange to me at this very moment.

We find jobs then leave. We meet friends then it’s either, we change or they do. We meet and fall in love with interesting strangers, and then they leave you without even saying anything.  We work at 8am then leave the office at 5pm. We sleep and the sound of the alarm clock wakes us up to another day.  Life’s is like that. We just have to roll with the punches.

Everything in our lives can change in a minute. One bad or good news can change a lifetime. I read somewhere that how we react to changes, what pieces from broken things we find on the ground, and how we accept this constant flux define our choices.

Our choices, in return, define who we are.

People diverged onto different roads and I may no longer be strolling on the same path as you are in, however I am not lost to you or you to me forever.  Although we may be onto different roads right now but you will have that spot you filled in the past, and maybe a reservation in the future. 

Perhaps it isn’t in the moving but the standing still which makes us appreciate the shuffle. In what might be my last moments here with you, I’d slow dance and hopefully watch you from afar, grateful and happy to have met and loved you.
