Goodbye 2006

2006 was a good year for me. In fact, the last 2 years were greater than ever. In 2005, I was slowly trying to live my life the way I want to. Came 2006 which was even better.

 

 

 

Life is just a matter of right perspectives. Lately, the glass is half-filled although sometimes it’s poisoned. Nonetheless, it’s half-filled. The thorns now have roses. Yes. The windows are locked but the chimney is accessible. Black is still my favorite color (technically , it’s not a color really) but I have a few reds, blues, yellows and more pink tops. I still love my old flip-flops but at least I have three new pairs this year.

 

I’m stronger emotionally. Not that I’ve stopped crying, but because I am brave and strong enough to accept that it’s normal to breakdown and surrender to things that we really can’t change or have.

 

 

 

 

 

I was mean this year. My erratic moods kept everyone close confused. There were those days when I’ve become the most apathetic person in the universe, the most stubborn ass in the world. But I’m still here. A little love here and there from family, friends, and little kids then I’m whole again. I’m ok.

I hurt quite a number of people this year because I felt that I had to say or do what I felt was right. I was mean because I spoke out, probably too much. To everyone out there, I’m not sorry for saying what I had to say. But I’m sorry for the pain that I’ve caused you.

 

To Hope, Lemz, Mia, Domz, Jhay, JJ, Miko, Romel, Afred ,and Yamz thanks for the wonderful memories I had with you this year. Thanks for making this year great. And of course to Abner, Junico, Raf , and Raj thanks for the hugs and the laughters and the tears you shared with me this year. I wish everyone a happy and a prosperous 2007.
